Human Resources Generalist

Our Edmonton-based client is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support key HR initiatives and day-to-day operations. Reporting to both the President and Vice President, this role offers a dynamic opportunity to make an impact across several areas of HR.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily HR operations including recruitment, employee relations, and general HR administration
• Lead high-volume recruitment efforts and support onboarding activities
• Build strong working relationships across various client groups
• Provide guidance and support on workplace issues and employee concerns
• Coach and mentor junior HR Coordinators
• Participate in internal initiatives such as training sessions, wellness programs, and orientation events

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an HR Generalist role
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Sound judgment and practical problem-solving skills
• Must be available to work on-site
