A prominent full-service law firm based in downtown Toronto is looking to expand its highly regarded Construction Group by adding an experienced Construction Litigation Associate. As a well-established and award-winning Provincial and Regional Law Firm, our client takes pride in delivering exceptional legal counsel and unparalleled client service.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team of legal professionals and collaborate with the General Litigation team on complex construction-related cases. The successful candidate will be part of a group of 10 lawyers and will gain hands-on experience in managing a diverse range of construction litigation matters.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage construction litigation matters, including lien actions, breach of trust actions, construction lien pre-trials, discoveries, and mediations.
- Offer strategic legal advice and counsel to clients involved in construction disputes.
- Draft and review legal documents, pleadings, and court submissions.
- Conduct legal research and provide analysis on intricate construction law issues.
- Engage in settlement negotiations and mediation, representing the best interests of clients.
- Work closely with senior partners and collaborate with the General Litigation team.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring excellent client service.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in construction litigation.
- Strong experience in lien actions, breach of trust actions, construction lien pre-trials, discoveries, and mediations.
- Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and writing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently provide exceptional customer service and work independently
