The Director of Information Technology will lead the organization's overall IT strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and driving digital transformation. This role is responsible for IT infrastructure, security, application development, and field operations. The Director will lead a team of professionals, fostering innovation and operational excellence while ensuring reliable and secure IT services across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:
  • Develop and implement the enterprise IT strategy in alignment with business objectives, fostering a digital-first, business-driven approach.
  • Partner with executive leadership to shape business capability planning, ensuring IT capabilities enable growth, efficiency, and innovation.
  • Continuously assess emerging technologies to drive digital business transformation and enhance operational effectiveness.
IT Operations & Service Delivery:
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, applications, and security frameworks to ensure high availability and resilience.
  • Direct IT field operations, ensuring that technology solutions effectively support business operations.
  • Manage IT service delivery, ensuring cost-effective, secure, and agile solutions that adapt to changing business needs.
Governance & Risk Management:
  • Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and governance structures to ensure compliance, security, and operational control.
  • Lead enterprise-wide cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring protection against internal and external threats.
  • Establish and monitor performance metrics to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of IT services.
Financial & Resource Management:
  • Oversee the IT budget, ensuring investments align with business priorities and deliver measurable value.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, ensuring optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Drive cost optimization through technology innovations and operational efficiencies.
Workforce Development:
  • Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing IT team with a balance of technical expertise and business acumen.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and adaptability to keep pace with evolving technologies.
  • Collaborate with HR to develop workforce strategies that support business and IT priorities.
Digital Transformation & Innovation:
  • Champion digital transformation initiatives, leveraging modern technologies to enhance business processes and customer experiences.
  • Drive the modernization of enterprise systems, including ERP platforms (such as SAP, JDE, Oracle), to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.
  • Promote the adoption of emerging technologies to unlock new business opportunities and capabilities.
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of IT leadership experience, with a proven track record in driving technology strategies and delivering business value.
  • Extensive experience leading large, cross-functional teams and managing complex enterprise-wide IT initiatives.
  • Demonstrated expertise in ERP platforms such as SAP, JDE, or Oracle, with a focus on innovation and modernization.
  • Strong strategic planning, budget management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proven ability to lead digital transformation efforts and drive organizational change.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language.
Preferred Skills:
  • Deep understanding of emerging technologies and their application in business contexts.
  • Experience managing geographically dispersed teams.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with senior executives and business leaders.
