Our client is seeking an Associate to join their dynamic Wills and Estates department. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in drafting legal documents, including contracts, affidavits, powers of attorney, statutory declarations, personal healthcare directives, and others
- Conduct legal research and analysis, and draft pleadings
- Participate in negotiations and mediation
- Contribute to litigating wills and estates disputes
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor or Law Degree in good standing, eligible to practice in Alberta
- Minimum of three years’ experience in wills and estates litigation
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
