Mechanical Designer is responsible for designing products. This includes the creation of complex mechanical assemblies (plastics & metal cast) and resolving customer/production issues.

Mechanical Designer is responsible for designing products. This includes the creation of complex mechanical assemblies (plastics & metal cast) and resolving customer/production issues.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze mechanical failures and manufacturing issues, implementing corrective actions.
- Produce 3D CAD models, 2D drawings, and renderings for designs.
- Estimate design tasks, time, and costs.
- Develop form/fit/function details for assemblies, ensuring proper geometry, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Conduct design optimization using FEA tools (e.g., ANSYS).
- Lead design experiments/tests to reduce risks and validate choices.
- Troubleshoot issues during development and testing.
- Review customer requirements and contribute to product specifications.
- Participate in design reviews, DFMEA processes, and leverage rapid prototyping and DFM principles.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing and Test Engineering for jigs and fixtures design.
- Work with Project Managers and teams to meet customer needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- 8+ years of mechanical design experience with exposure to composite and metal based products.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and current technologies.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling.
- Ability to work independently with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
