You will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) and be the first point of contact for salary administration, job evaluation, and compensation enquiries.
Responsibilities:
- Act as SME in the analysis, advice, and implementation of total rewards programs.
- Lead and support ad-hoc, complex projects related to Total Rewards programs.
- Assist in the review and revision of policies related to total rewards and systems and their interpretation.
- Participate in process improvements and identify opportunities for operational efficiencies
- Lead full cycle annual salary increases for different categories of employees including market analysis, determining increase eligibility, data validation, calculation, documentation of salary administration guidelines and communication.
- Conduct market analysis to ensure market competitiveness. Analyze survey data, identify gaps, make recommendations, cost modelling and implement approved changes.
- Resolve compensation/structure-related issues or discrepancies as appropriate.
- Maintain salary grid structure and ensure information is shared with the Talent Acquisition and Engagement Team.
- Evaluate jobs, outline potential cost impact and address any job evaluation questions from leaders/employees.
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in a relevant professional discipline (i.e. Human Resources, Business Administration, or Finance) or an equivalent combination of educational and work experience.
- Previous work experience conducting job evaluations and market analysis for compensation is required.
- Previous work experience in a total rewards or compensation role at the specialist, consultant, and/or senior level is preferred.
- CHRP/CHRL and CCP designations are assets.
- Working knowledge of project management disciplines, including experience in scoping and sizing work efforts.
- Experience developing statistical and analytical reports.
