The company is preparing to launch our new capital cost-estimating software product and is seeking a Business Development/Marketing Manager to join their team. This individual will have a proactive entrepreneurial spirit and will see the opportunity that software applications can have in capital cost estimating. The candidate will play a pivotal role in proactively promoting and selling our software and services and seeking new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide insight to identify, and secure new business opportunities
- Propose and implement marketing initiatives and represent the company at client and industry events to promote our software and services
- Update and maintain company website and marketing materials
- Work closely with internal teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation in design and implementation of cost estimating solutions
- Prepare and present regular sales/forecast/market analysis reports to senior management
- Attend bid meetings and develop and execute bid strategy
- Knowledge of capital cost estimating
- Bachelor’s degree in or equivalent experience in Marketing or related field of study
- 5+ years of professional experience in business development/sales preferably in capital cost estimating.
- Excellent communications skills with the ability to convey technical, business, or administrative concepts effectively
- Strong work ethic and self-motivation, with a history of delivering high quality, consistent results
- Proactive and effective collaborator and team player focused on contributing to collective goals
- Flexible and adaptable, capable of handling various roles and tasks as needed.
- Creative mindset with the ability to solve problems elegantly.
