About Our Client:
Our client is a newly established MGA, who is a subsidiary of a nationally operating insurance carrier in Canada. They offer comprehensive individual life insurance, group benefits and A&H products to their clients nationwide. 

About The Opportunity:
As a Group Benefit Specialist, you will be responsible for servicing and supporting the insurance advisor who are in BC, AB, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Ontario and Atlantic. You will ensure that the advisors are successful by assisting them in building client relationships, advising them on group benefit strategies and reviewing the contracts for them. 

About The Position:
  • Support the advisors on sales cases, connect advisors to carrier partner resources and assist with their face-to-face client meetings. Review the contract booklets and assist account managers in preparing market analysis and quotes
  • Share your advice to the advisors on group benefits strategies for traditional, flexible, ASOs and complex benefits plans 
  • Assist negotiations on new and renewal rates with the group benefit providers 
The Requirements:
  • LLQP license
  • Experience and knowledge of group benefits  
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Knowledge and experience in group benefit
Compensation:
  • $65,000 to $85,000 annual salary + bonus 
  • Health and paramedical coverage 
  • Defined contribution plan
  • Paid leaves from 3 weeks
