Our client, a local not-for-profit organization, is seeking a highly organized and professional Executive Assistant to support the Chief Financial Officer for a 6-month contract with potential for extension. This role will be located in an office, in downtown Edmonton.
The ideal candidate will bring experience supporting a CFO or similar executive, have strong business acumen, and excel in written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the CFO, including calendar management, scheduling meetings, and preparing correspondence.
- Draft briefing notes, reports, and presentations based on dictation or outlined instructions.
- Assist with meeting preparation, including agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions.
- Manage departmental communication and ensure seamless coordination within the finance team.
- Maintain and organize files, documents, and resources using Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and other Microsoft Office tools.
- Support special projects, including those involving Microsoft Project or similar tools.
- Utilize advanced tools like ChatGPT and Microsoft Co-pilot to streamline tasks and enhance productivity.
- Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvements.
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant supporting a CFO or similar senior executive.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with Teams, SharePoint, and Microsoft Project.
- Ability to draft professional documents and correspondence with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A proactive attitude and ability to anticipate needs before they arise.
