Key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the daily operations of the Maintenance department including work order creation and tracking
- Preparing contracts and assisting with the development of a planned maintenance program
- Assisting with coordination of various projects
- Tracking the maintenance budget and updating financial records
- Obtaining quotes, creating bid forms, and issuing purchase orders
- Updating the database and tracking inventory
- Providing customer service to resident managers and tenants as needed
The ideal candidate will have:
- 1+ year of previous experience in property management or construction
- Related post-secondary education (business or administration) is an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to follow up promptly
- Proficiency with MS Office
