Manager of Software Engineering

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical direction and oversight to Software, Software Test, and Firmware Teams.
• Develop software/firmware roadmaps and align with product goals.
• Maintain and refine the development processes and software environment
• Drive the technical future of Sonar/Sonobuoy products

Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading software teams.
• Over 10 years of experience with C++ and/or Java.
• Strong knowledge of Software Engineering best practices and SDLC.
• Proficiency in Linux operating systems and command line usage.
• Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Eligibility to obtain a Canadian/NATO Secret security clearance and a Canadian Controlled Goods assessment.
