Our client, a rapidly expanding national retailer, has partnered with Aplin in the search for a District Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced operations leader to drive business strategy across multiple locations in southern Ontario. This is a full-time permanent opportunity and will require regular travel to regional locations throughout the year.

Please note that the successful candidate must reside in the GTA, Mississauga, or Hamilton.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead regional store operations with a focus on continuous improvement and brand consistency.
  • Monitor and enhance store performance, ensuring efficiency through audits and KPI tracking.
  • Collaborate across departments to align strategies and resolve challenges.
  • Drive customer experience improvements, reducing wait times and fostering engagement.
  • Build strong teams through performance management, coaching, and leadership development.
  • Oversee hiring and training of store managers and create talent pipelines for new locations.
  • Develop evaluations, goal-setting initiatives, and development plans for all locations in the region.
  • Liaise with corporate headquarters on marketing initiatives to grow presence in local market.
Qualifications:
  • Business degree or related post-secondary education
  • 5+ years of operational leadership experience in a multi-site retail environment  
  • Demonstrated people leadership skills with an ability to manage diverse teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an influential and collaborative leadership style
  • General proficiency with technology including MS Office
  • Previous experience in entertainment or sports-related industries is an asset
