Accounts Payable Clerk

Join a top employer and advance your career. Aplin has partnered with a Winnipeg-based company to hire an Accounts Payable Clerk for an immediate temporary position that has the potential to become a temporary-to-hire opportunity.

• Immediate temporary Accounts Payable position
• Onsite position 
• Monday to Friday 8 am to 4 pm 
• Free parking 

Responsibilities:

• Data entry of invoices into the inhouse AP system
• Ensure invoices are entered accurately 
• Verify vendor and invoice amounts 
• Assist with various administrative and accounting tasks as required 

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education in Accounting 
• One plus years of experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk 
• A combination of education and experience will be considered 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask
• Exceptional attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills 
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• A criminal background check is required
