- Revenue Optimization: Oversee and enhance annual revenue while supporting regional managers in achieving commercial targets.
- Strategic Growth: Drive revenue through strategic sales, business development, and market intelligence.
- Client Relations: Build and maintain strong client relationships with a focus on acquisition, retention, and expansion.
- Market Presence: Regularly engage with clients, network, and elevate brand visibility.

Key Responsibilities:
Customer Acquisition & Sales Management
- Identify and secure new sales opportunities while streamlining processes to maximize efficiency and outcomes.
- Cultivate enduring relationships with new and existing clients.
- Proactively address client needs to ensure satisfaction and long-term retention.
- Analyze industry trends, customer demands, and competitors to inform strategic decisions.
- Expand revenue by acquiring new clients and developing existing accounts.
- Seize opportunities to increase market share within the Ready-Mix sector.
- Accurately forecast market trends and align targets with insights.
- Track and manage performance against financial objectives.
- Ensure precise and consistent quotes for a variety of projects and markets.
Business Responsibilities:
- Safety Leadership: Integrate HSE objectives and foster a safety-first culture in commercial operations.
- Sales & Business Development:
- Pursue new client opportunities, leveraging market insights to refine strategies.
- Expand into new markets and lead sales initiatives in alignment with regional supervisors.
- Develop and implement strategies to sustain long-term growth.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Travel extensively across southern BC to connect with clients and promote products.
- Address customer concerns promptly and explore opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Revenue & Risk Management:
- Execute strategic pricing and positioning to drive revenue and profitability.
- Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and mitigate risks.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s or Diploma in Engineering, Business, or a related field (equivalent experience considered).
- Experience:
- 10+ years in commercial sales, ideally in concrete or construction, with a focus on sales and business development.
- Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Financial expertise with a proven ability to drive revenue growth.
- Interpersonal Strengths:
- Excellent relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Other Requirements:
- Willingness to travel up to 70% across southern BC.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving abstract.
