Handling Associate

Benefits & Perks:

• Immediate temporary opportunity with a growing Transportation company in Mississauga, Ontario
• Onsite role Monday to Friday 
• Potential to become a temporary to hire 
• $17.55 per hour
• Note - Must be available for flexible hours ie 530 am to 230 pm shift

Responsibilities:

• Prepare documents for scanning 
• Convert paper to imaged documents using the scanning machine 
• Review the quality of documents and images 
• Distribute timesheets for the billing department 
• Ensure incoming and outcoming mail is picked up, processed and sorted in a timely manner
• Coordinate relocating documents offsite ie to Iron Mountain
• Data entry, filing and scanning 
• Various clerical responsibilities as required 

Qualifications:

• One plus year of office experience
• Experience in a mail room and/or scanning experience is an asset 
• Attention to detail with strong organizational skills 
• Customer service focus and a team player 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Ability to work in a high-volume environment and meet deadlines 
• A criminal background check is required
