Marketing Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Daily searches of databases seeking out new and upcoming ‘requests for proposals’ (RFPs).
• Layout, graphic design, and writing of architectural proposals.
• Creation and management of social media posts, ads, and campaigns.
• Regular updates to the company website.
• Layout and design of publications, pamphlets, and other marketing materials.
• Collaboration with the architectural team on proposals and other marketing pursuits.
• Design and distribution of entries to awards programs.
• Correspondence with and submission of content to newspapers, magazines, and online publications.
• Experience in SEO and link building is an asset.

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education in marketing and/or graphic design.
• Agility in social media and multi-media assembly.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier Pro). After Effects would be an asset.
• Excellent writing skills.
• Ability to conduct independent research and develop strategic marketing campaigns.
• 3+ years of work experience in the industry (preferably directly in the architectural industry).
