Responsibilities:
- Coordinating, initiating, monitoring, and evaluating the delivery of quality patient/client care
- Consult and collaborate with the Board of Directors for the delivery of services
- Develop and monitor program policies and procedures and serves as a liaison with Chronic Disease Management and Prevention Coordinators, Community Advisory Groups, the Ministry of Health, and other Primary Health Care sites facilities
- Assisting with invoicing, accounts payable, and payroll on site
- Fostering team development and collaboration
- Identifying resources and developing programs to respond to the needs of interdisciplinary members for the promotion of team-building strategies, educational opportunities, and enhancement of service delivery models
- Developing and delivering employee evaluations and performance management programs
- Participating in meetings and committees
- Serving as a liaison between the organization and the community by participating in community development initiatives, sharing of community resources, identifying community health care needs
- Schedule and coordinate staff, volunteers, equipment, meeting rooms, and other resources to meet the program needs of team members
- Developing the Centre budget and managing the financial, technical, and human resources within the approved budget parameters
- Developing and submitting the annual strategy and budget plan to the board
- Obtaining information regarding legal requirements and safety issues for the facility
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field plus 5 to 7 years of experience in rural healthcare
- Must have experience creating and managing budgets
- Must have experience in a managerial position
- Knowledge of current healthcare issues and trends
- Knowledge of social and economic issues and their implications for health planning
- Ability to anticipate and respond to changing priorities or unforeseen circumstances
- Ability to provide leadership, guidance, and direction to others
