Our client is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel with a minimum of 10 years expertise in Corporate and/or Contract Law. Experience in the aviation sector is essential.
Reporting to the CFO, the Legal Counsel will play a pivotal role in providing strategic guidance on business development and commercial matters. The successful candidate will collaborate with the leasing and sales departments, as well as other members of senior management, to ensure legal and regulatory alignment across the organization.

- Represent the company’s interests in legal proceedings, including litigation, arbitration, and hearings, as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing their legal needs with the highest level of professionalism.
- Align business processes with contractual obligations to support organizational goals.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from an accredited Canadian university.
- Membership: Active membership with the Law Society of Alberta.
- Extensive knowledge of commercial agreements and related legal frameworks.
- Demonstrated integrity, confidentiality, and accountability in professional settings.
- Proven ability to build collaborative relationships across departments.
