Reporting to the Controller, this is a varied role that will appeal to a problem solver who enjoys supporting a fast-paced multi-entity finance area.

- Base compensation $80-90K

- Provide support for quarterly and annual financial reporting requirements
- Assist in consolidation accounting
- Assist with month-end close activities including reconciliations and government filings
- Support the annual budgeting process
- Support board reporting including MD&A
- Prepare various internal reports
- Other ad hoc projects as required
- Accounting designation is considered an asset - Canadian CPA or foreign designation
- Will support someone in the CPA PEP program
- Working knowledge of ASPE and Canadian tax rules
- Public practice experience is considered an asset
- Experience with Great Plains and/or Caseware is considered an asset
- Process-oriented, organized and timely
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
