Aplin has an exciting Opportunity for an Experienced Corporate Paralegal in Edmonton, AB!

Join a dynamic and collaborative team where your expertise will shine! In this role, you'll support the Corporate, Commercial, and Security Practice Group by preparing and drafting a variety of corporate documents and handling annual filings. Your senior-level experience and comprehensive knowledge of corporate law and procedures will be key to your success in this position.

Responsibilities:
  • Draft documents for incorporations, amalgamations, amendments, resolutions, and minutes.
  • Prepare and manage documentation for corporate transactions.
  • Complete annual returns and ensure compliance with corporate requirements.
  • Provide timely responses to inquiries from lawyers and clients.
  • Collaborate with lawyers and fellow paralegals on a variety of corporate matters.
Qualifications:
  • Diploma in Paralegal Studies or equivalent.
  • At least 6 years of experience in a paralegal role, with a strong focus on corporate matters.
  • Deep knowledge of corporate law, procedures, and the preparation of documents for societies and not-for-profit corporations.
  • A results-driven professional with outstanding time management, organizational, and follow-up skills.
  • Exceptional research and analytical abilities, along with sound judgment, high accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple files simultaneously and perform under pressure.
  • A self-starter who thrives independently but also excels in a team environment.
