We have partnered with our client, a prominent folding carton manufacturer, in search of a results-oriented Business Development Specialist to drive new business in the folding carton packaging industry. The ideal candidate will use their knowledge of the industry and sales expertise to expand our customer base, build relationships with key clients in Canada and the US, while collaborating with internal teams to deliver exceptional packaging solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Sales: Identify and actively pursue new business within the folding carton sector. Develop tailored sales strategies and leverage market insights to target potential clients.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain lasting relationships with prospective and existing clients through frequent travel and in-person meetings.
- Strategy & Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales Manager to align sales goals, develop strategic approaches, and identify market trends that enhance our value proposition.
- Proposal Development: Present and negotiate custom packaging solutions to meet client needs, demonstrating an understanding of both technical and aesthetic requirements.
- Internal Coordination: Collaborate with production, design, and customer service teams to ensure seamless delivery of client projects.
- Performance Tracking: Provide regular sales forecasts and updates to senior management, aligning team activities with growth targets.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- Experience: 2-4 years in business development, sales, or account management, ideally in the packaging or manufacturing sectors.
- Skills:
- Proven ability to develop and implement sales strategies, meet targets, and close deals.
- Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with CRM and ERP systems, along with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Other Requirements:
- Ability to travel frequently for client meetings.
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Competitive Compensation: Base salary plus bonus opportunities $95,000 - $120,000 base plus bonus opportunities
