• Compensation: $40 to $53/hour
• Please note, this role will be a hybrid (3 days a week at the client’s Mississauga Location).

Responsibilities

• Plan, Budget, Support in executing high profile events.
• Review, update, and create event management processes, procedures, templates, and strategies.
• Organize and direct a group of event volunteers, ensuring they are well-prepared and supported.
• Provide direction and advice to senior leadership on event logistics, ensuring all voices are heard and considered.
• Track and manage budgets for all Corporate Programs and Events activities, ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Meet regularly with staff to discuss project progress and provide feedback and guidance, ensuring diverse perspectives are included in decision making.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, Communications or Hospitality.
• Must have 5 to 7 years of work experience in event planning focused on developing and executing corporate events.
• 2+ years of experience of planning of high-profile corporate events with 500+ attendees.
• At least 3 years of experience in People Management (Direct Report or Cross-Functional).
