Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct support to clients, ensuring adherence to program or policy eligibility requirements.
  • Engage with a diverse client base, offering guidance, advice, and problem-solving in a timely and empathetic manner.
  • Utilize multiple web-based systems to input, retrieve, and process client information efficiently.
  • Communicate with clients, including de-escalating tense situations, managing crises, and resolving conflicts or issues as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and services, ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines and protocols.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external service providers to address client needs and connect them with appropriate resources.
  • Navigate through larger networks of services and community programs to support client outcomes.
Qualifications:
  • Two-year diploma or degree in a related field (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Human Ecology, Sociology, Business Administration, Community Development).
  • Experience working with diverse or vulnerable populations is considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in customer service, particularly in high-volume environments and with in-person or virtual interactions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple computer systems and databases simultaneously.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with a diverse range of clients.
  • Critical thinking, time management, and problem-solving abilities, with a strong focus on client-centered service delivery.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle may be required for some locations.
