Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to clients, ensuring adherence to program or policy eligibility requirements.
- Engage with a diverse client base, offering guidance, advice, and problem-solving in a timely and empathetic manner.
- Utilize multiple web-based systems to input, retrieve, and process client information efficiently.
- Communicate with clients, including de-escalating tense situations, managing crises, and resolving conflicts or issues as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and services, ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines and protocols.
- Collaborate with colleagues and external service providers to address client needs and connect them with appropriate resources.
- Navigate through larger networks of services and community programs to support client outcomes.
- Two-year diploma or degree in a related field (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Human Ecology, Sociology, Business Administration, Community Development).
- Experience working with diverse or vulnerable populations is considered an asset.
- Proficiency in customer service, particularly in high-volume environments and with in-person or virtual interactions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple computer systems and databases simultaneously.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with a diverse range of clients.
- Critical thinking, time management, and problem-solving abilities, with a strong focus on client-centered service delivery.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle may be required for some locations.
