Aplin has partnered with our client, a renowned entity in the building products sector, to hire a dynamic and driven Bilingual Sales Representative with a track record of success for their New Brunswick region.

This role reports to the Branch Manager and involves collaboration with a talented team as well as trusted suppliers. Your primary focus will be on cultivating new client relationships while nurturing their valued existing customer base in the aluminum, lumber,  vinyl, cladding, windows, and doors industry.

Responsibilities:
  • Developing new business within the region by identifying prospective customers, generating leads, and building a robust customer base.
  • Maintaining quality relationships by being a dependable business partner to both established and prospective customers.
  • Meeting or exceeding weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales quotas.
  • Using strong research skills and deep product or industry knowledge to answer any questions about the product.
  • Determining sales strategies by utilizing data related to the business.
  • Delivering sales strategies and sales targets through effective call route planning and execution of action plans.
  • Increasing sales by identifying customer needs, removing real or potential barriers, and providing expert product knowledge.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably within the building products, construction, hardware, or retail lumber industry.
  • Post-secondary education in business or a relevant sector.
  • Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record. 
  • Enjoys travel and visiting client sites.
  • Experience using customer relationship management software preferably Salesforce.
  • Self-starter with a natural disposition to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Strong work ethic, integrity and proven professional sales competencies.
  • Fluent in both French and English.

  • Highly personable, experienced in client relationships and strong influencing skills.
  • Capable of bringing in new business and actively working to take over existing accounts and restore any concerns.
  • Structured in your approach, with strong planning and execution skills.
