Position Summary: Reporting to the Project Management Team Lead, the Project Manager oversees the scope, schedule, and budget while contributing engineering expertise. The role primarily focuses on mechanical testing and validation projects in agriculture, transportation, and related sectors. Project Managers collaborate with the Team Lead to resolve issues and ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage projects involving the physical testing of mechanical systems and components, including force, vibration, and fatigue testing.
  • Lead project teams, schedule resources, and manage budgets.
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations with recommendations for clients.
  • Apply best practices in safety, processes, and systems within a project environment.
  • Build collaborative relationships with clients, contractors, and colleagues.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
Qualifications:
  • Mechanical Engineering degree or diploma.
  • 5+ years of project management experience.
  • Knowledge of FEA, stress, and fatigue analysis.
  • Familiarity with agricultural/industrial machinery and manufacturing.
  • Experience with mechanical components, hydraulic, and electro-mechanical systems.
  • Eligibility for EGM or CTTAM registration.
  • PMP designation is an asset.
