Reporting to the Executive Director, this role oversees the accounting/finance, facilities management, human resources, and compliance/risk management for this small, well run organization.

Accounting/Finance:
- Oversee all aspects of daily accounting
- Maintain general ledger
- Prepare monthly financial statements and analyses for the senior management team
- Liaise with external auditor
- Develop/maintain internal financial policies
- Manage payroll, benefits admin, recruitment, job descriptions, onboarding and compliance with relevant legislation.
- Manage premises leases, equipment leases, and vendor relationships
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies
- Assess risks at the enterprise level and identify policy gaps
- Act as the organization's Privacy Officer
- Chartered Professional Accountant designation required
- Relevant post-secondary education
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience in both finance and operations
- Knowledge of human resources legislation, policies and procedures
- Sound analysis, judgment and decision-making skills
