We have partnered with a long-standing client in search of a Repair Supervisor for their repair facility in Regina. Primary Responsibilities:
  • Foster a productive workplace and adhere to organizational culture.
  • Use and teach Daily Management System processes to identify and address obstacles.
  • Communicate Plant KPI’s and their impact on the team.
  • Lead and coach direct reports, ensuring safety, quality, and production goals are met.
  • Assign work, evaluate performance, and ensure required certifications and training.
  • Enforce safety, regulatory, and customer standards; manage supply spend and waste.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, manage attendance, and facilitate Toolbox meetings.
  • Perform inspections and handle labour scheduling.
Desired Skills and Expertise:
  • Management or supervisory experience in a manufacturing facility is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of railcar repair techniques and relevant regulations is a plus.
  • Welding experience is considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and proven safety record.
  • Strong decision-making, leadership, and collaboration skills.
  • Positive attitude, ability to achieve results, and work independently.
  • Valid Driver’s license and ability to work in various environmental conditions.
