Join a top employer and advance your career! We have partnered with our client to seek a Junior Project Manager with IT experience to assist with multiple, concurrent, projects. This is a 1-year, remote contract. It is available to candidates Canada-wide (preference for candidates in Manitoba).

  • Assist the overall operation of assigned projects/programs
  • Create and assist with program budgets
  • Escalation of issues and risks to appropriate business and technical stakeholders to ensure timely resolution to project impediments
  • Ensuring project operations are consistent with regulatory guidelines and internal processes
  • Ensures all relevant documents and artifacts are stored in the appropriate project folders (SharePoint) as per the project scope framework and are readily available for scrutiny by the Executive Team, and Internal Audit
  • Assisting, processing, and monitoring program performance
  • Collecting, recording, and analyzing project data
  • Assist in facilitating project audits to confirm they are on track with documentation, budget, schedule, and scope to mitigate potential risks to compliance or project success
  • Assist with tracking scope changes and approved change orders, and communicates them to the project team, and the client as required
  • Attend committee meetings and industry events as needed
  • 2-5 years of Project Management experience
  • Experience with Projects with budgets of $500K - 2M+
  • Experience managing vendors, stakeholders, and internal & external resources
  • Experience with large Capital Construction Projects
  • Experience with MS Project, Visio, Slack, SharePoint & MS Office tools
  • Applied knowledge of program management processes, budgeting, information analysis, and reporting
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multiple projects, and meeting tight deadlines
Nice to Haves:
  • Project experience with IT Infrastructure from scratch
  • PMP and other related certificates or education an asset
