As a Junior Sales Representative, you will play a key role in developing within our sales team and contributing to the overall success of the company. This entry-level position is designed for individuals who are enthusiastic about getting into a professional career in sales and are willing to learn and develop their skills. The client has an established book of business so there will be a mix of account management and new business development. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in identifying and generating new sales leads through various methods and market research.
  • Support senior sales representatives in managing client relationships, including preparing presentations, proposals, and contracts.
  • Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to gain knowledge about sales techniques, product offerings, and industry trends.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement sales strategies and promotional campaigns.
  • Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets and contribute to the overall sales goals of the company.

Qualifications:
  • Post secondary education preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Sales experience considered an asset.
  • Manufacturing, construction, or equipment knowledge is considered a plus.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong desire to succeed in a sales career.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new sales techniques and strategies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM software is a plus.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Valid passport and the ability to travel to the US at least 30%.
