Join a top employer and advance your career. Aplin has partnered with a large corporation to hire a Senior Analyst Procurement for either their Montreal or Toronto office on a 22-month contract. The Senior Analyst provides support to users of procurement systems and processes, as well as process owners and system managers, to effectively maintain platforms.

You will participate in or lead process review and re-engineering activities, including documenting processes and procedures. You administer various system activities, such as hands-on maintenance of system data and configuration.

Benefits & Perks:
  • Compensation: $75,000 to $95,000
  • 4 weeks Vacation

Responsibilities:
  • Provide application administration, which includes supplier and user adoption, workflow configuration and training coordination (both to current and new users) during the implementation period.
  • Develop automations and deliver procurement reports for management and other interested parties.
  • Create and strategically analyze reports needed to provide metrics and KPIs for decision-making and/or communications purposes.
  • Maintain procurement databases, including contracts, needs specifications, product pricing and all related information.
  • Deliver ongoing support for implementation and development of the Source-to-Procure (S2P) application as well as all other procurement platforms.
  • Conduct market research to find innovative procurement solutions.
  • Track spending and savings, including continuous improvement programs and supplier performance measurements.
  • Develop proposals and recommendations for improvements to supply management processes and play an active role in driving efficiency.
  • Help evaluate new features by performing predefined test scenarios or other related work.
  • Maintain constant communication with the sourcing and business teams to optimize their respective work. 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience in business administration, accounting, supply chain management, finance or an IT discipline
  • 5 or more years’ experience within a procurement department using enterprise procurement system applications such as Ariba and SAP
  • Strong knowledge of purchasing processes and public procurement, best practices and general interdependencies in finance and business
  • Open-minded, innovative and self-confident attitude in the face of resistance
  • Service and detail-oriented mindset- Ability to communicate effectively and independently with individuals at all levels
  • Strong skills with basic software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, etc.)
  • Fluent bilingualism (English and French, spoken and written)
  • Familiarity with Crown corporations and government agencies is an asset.
