Aplin has partnered with our client to recruit a Project Manager experienced in multi-unit residential construction. Located in Saskatoon, this is a permanent full-time opportunity with an organization that prioritizes quality, integrity, and employee engagement. We are seeking a project manager who is comfortable with tight deadlines and driven to succeed.

The role:
  • Plan, organize, direct, and oversee construction projects from start to finish, according to schedule, specifications, and budget.
  • Prepare construction schedules and milestones, monitor them, and report progress.
  • Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts, and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Hire and supervise the activities of subcontractors and subordinate staff.
  • Direct and execute the purchase of building materials.
  • Assist with obtaining permits and licenses.
  • Implement and oversee safety protocols and programs.
  • Implement and oversee quality control programs.

Required education, experience, and abilities:
  • Post-secondary education in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
  • Proven working experience in construction management and understanding of all facets of the multi-unit residential construction process
  • Knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards
  • Familiarity with construction management software packages and basic Microsoft Office and Google software
  • A valid driver’s license
