Join a top employer and advance your career. Our client, a leader in the trailers field, has partnered with Aplin to hire a Regional Sales Rep based in the Ottawa region.

Responsibilities:
  • Sales and Product Knowledge:
    • Promoting trailers, trailer parts and accessories, and other services to potential buyers.
    • Providing sales pitches and answering questions about the products.
    • Educating customers on the features, benefits, and uses of different trailers.
  • Customer Interaction:
    • Greeting customers and discussing their needs.
    • Advising customers on the type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase or rental.
    • Estimating or quoting prices, financing options, and warranties.
    • Coordinating sales invoices and shipping orders.
    • Checking in with customers after the sale.
    • Offering maintenance tips and support.
    • Encouraging repeat business and referrals.
  • Dealer Interaction:
    • Cultivating positive relationships with new and existing dealerships and their staff.
    • Understanding the dealership’s needs and goals.
  • Collaboration with Coworkers:
    • Collaborating with other branches on sales and transporting products.
    • Travelling to other branches as needed.
  • Advise Management:
    • Produce reports on customer needs, market trends.
    • Provide feedback on existing products and services to Managers.
    • Identify new product and service opportunities.
    • Monitor competitor's pricing and product offerings.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bilingual in English and French: Proficiency in both languages to effectively communicate with customers and team members.
  • Valid Driver’s Licence (Class G/Class 5): Required for travel and client visits.
  • Experience in trailer sales or a similar role: Demonstrated success in selling trailers or related products.
  • Effective Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and colleagues.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Providing exceptional service and addressing customer needs promptly.
  • Strong Time Management: Balancing multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
  • Negotiation Skills: Closing deals and handling objections effectively.
  • Networking Abilities: Building relationships with dealerships and customers.
