Aplin is partnering with a Canada-based global company to hire a fully remote, contract Senior Trade Marketing Manager (13-14 months). The role focuses on developing and implementing Trade Marketing and Visual Merchandising strategies in Canada to boost shopper engagement, sales, and brand advocacy.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the annual Trade Marketing strategy.
  • Manage product setup documents and POS materials.
  • Optimize trade spend and oversee budgets.
  • Develop a promotional calendar and execute key business strategies.
  • Maintain relationships with provincial boards and track submissions.
  • Provide project updates and ensure alignment with Brand, Sales, and cross-functional teams.
Qualifications:
  • 6+ years in marketing/sales, with 3+ years in CPG, Cannabis, Alcohol, or trade/shopper marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree (business focus preferred)
  • Self-motivated, proactive approach
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Ability to analyze consumer research and financial data
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Travel may be required
