Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and issue A/R invoices and statements, including the review and release of invoices along with corresponding reports.
  • Process a high volume of daily invoices.
  • Handle credit card, EFT, and cheque payment processing.
  • Track aged A/R reports and make collections calls.
  • Field basic accounting department phone calls and emails.
  • Process all A/P payments, ensuring invoices/vendor invoices are properly authorized, receiving documents are reconciled to purchase orders/quotes, coding is confirmed, company credit card receipts are collected, reconciled to corresponding statements, coded, posted, and paid without penalties.
  • Gather, code, match receipts, post, and pay expense forms.
  • Manage A/P and A/R filing.
  • Conduct month-end processing and track reports.
  • Perform bank reconciliations.
  • Process payroll.
  • Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned by the Controller.

Qualifications:
  • Over 2 years of experience as a Full-Cycle Accounting Coordinator.
  • Post-secondary education in Accounting, with a university degree preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience working with Sage 50.
  • Payroll experience is an asset.
  • Experience in general ledger and financial statement preparation is an asset.
  • Accurate keyboarding and data entry skills.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills; self-motivated.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks quickly and effectively.
  • Strong customer service focus.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
