This is a dynamic, hands-on position with our client in the manufacturing industry. They are looking for an individual with experience in manufacturing or a similar industry to join their team. This is a full-cycle accounting position working with the Controller to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform month-end and year-end account reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Monthly variance analysis of P&L results vs budget.
  • Assist with financial statement preparation in accordance with ASPE.
  • Assist in cost accounting processes.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Assist in maintaining accounting policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Fixed asset management and tracking.
Qualifications:
  • CPA designation is a MUST HAVE.
  • Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel and Word.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize and manage multiple tasks, deadlines, requirements, and decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of financial, operational, and cost reporting and analysis.
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in a multi-currency environment.
  • Experience with SAP is considered an asset.
