We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administrative Support professional to join our Public Affairs Team. This position is created to enhance the efficiency of our services and support the coordination of advertising initiatives. The successful candidate will play a vital role in facilitating communication, managing advertising processes, and providing administrative support to the Public Affairs Department.

Responsibilities:
  • Act as a liaison between the organization and its audiences, handling member communication, media relations, government affairs, and public advocacy/relations.
  • Assist in strategic communication planning, writing, design, publication management, website design and management, environmental scanning, and event coordination.
  • Manage payment arrangements related to advertising.
  • Collaborate with advertisers to process requests and ensure smooth coordination of ad creation and placement
  • Proactively provide administrative support for advertising in publications.
  • Assist in setting priorities, planning activities, and monitoring progress for the Public Affairs team.
  • Coordinate administrative processes for various initiatives and programs.
  • Provide support for meetings, including scheduling, logistical details, agenda preparation, and minute-taking.
Qualifications:
  • 4 years of related administrative experience, with previous experience in Public Relations/Affairs.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, including PowerPoint presentations.
  • Superior writing, proofreading, and editing skills.
  • Experience with meeting coordination, minute-taking, and virtual collaboration tools.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and pivot as needed.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of Zoom and Microsoft Teams platforms.
