We have partnered with a long-standing client in search of a Sales Manager for their used vocational trailer business. With an industry-leading name behind the brand, as well as operations from Montreal to Vancouver and over 40 years of business experience, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful company.

Benefits & Perks:
  • Industry-standard base wage plus commissions (OTE year 1 in the $100,000 range)
  • Monday to Friday role with no evenings nor weekends (unless traveling to tradeshows or to see customers)

  • Support the Account Managers across the country regarding trade-ins, resale values, used inventory, etc.
  • Regular communication with the Account Managers regarding inventory, potential stock, and approving appraisals and all sales
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the Service Department and Leasing / Rental
  • Oversee all units being offered for resale to ensure they have been repaired and prepped according to the trailer appraisal program
  • Collect market intelligence regarding industry trends, pricing, promotions, and networking with industry experts
  • Assist with forecasting, budgets, and business plans
  • Commitment to exemplary customer service standards

  • Minimum 5 years of successful sales experience with preference to those coming from the heavy-duty truck and trailer industry
  • Strong business acumen, particularly with budgeting and forecasting
  • Commitment to elevating and motivating a team of Account Managers
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with everyone from internal and external stakeholders, customers, and support staff
  • Proficiency with technology including MS Office
  • A high degree of detail and organization required
  • Valid driver’s license and passport for occasional travel
