In this role, you'll play a vital role working on a paralegal team responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial real estate and financing transactions.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, draft, and revise documents for various commercial transactions, including commercial lending and the purchase/sale of commercial properties.
  • Liaise with firm lawyers, paralegals, clients, and external parties.
  • Conduct and report on due diligence searches for various commercial transactions.
  • Manage a portfolio of assigned files for corporate commercial lawyers, ensuring timely and accurate completion of multiple deadlines.
  • Process received funds by firm procedures.
  • Independently draft routine correspondence and communicate with clients when appropriate.
Qualifications:
  • Diploma in paralegal studies or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a Commercial paralegal role.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrates excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Maintains professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion.
  • Exercises good judgment with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and capable of prioritizing and handling multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
