Position Overview: Our client seeks a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join their team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to delivering high-quality respiratory care to patients of all ages. You will work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with sleep disorders.

  • Perform assessments and diagnostic tests to evaluate patients' respiratory conditions.
  • Develop and implement respiratory care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Monitor patients' responses to treatments and adjust therapies as needed.
  • Educate patients and their families on respiratory conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and protocols related to respiratory care.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and team meetings to discuss patient care plans and outcomes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field (preferred).
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
  • Current province licensure as a Respiratory Therapist.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate care and promoting patient safety.
