Our Edmonton-based client has an immediate opening for a skilled Cloud and Infrastructure Administrator to ensure the security, reliability, and efficiency of their cloud services, applications, and network. Responsibilities include configuring and managing cloud servers, automating operations, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing resources. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud technologies, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Configure and manage cloud servers, applications, and network components.
  • Automate cloud operations for improved efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to cloud services and applications.
  • Optimize cloud resources and costs.
  • Collaborate with team members to deploy and support cloud-based solutions.
  • Implement and enforce cloud policies and standards.
  • Research and recommend improvements in cloud technologies.
  • Document cloud activities and performance.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud and networking.
  • Certification in cloud administration and ITIL preferred.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and services.
  • Proficiency in cloud administration tools and platforms.
  • Experience in cloud security, compliance, and optimization.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and manage vendors.
