Principal Consultant Financial Product Subledger

You will work with The Financial Products Subledger (FPSL) Business Unit providing consulting and implementation services that focus on digital transformation and innovative processes to improve the finance and accounting function for international insurance and banking companies.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expertise in SAP Financial Products SubLedger (FPSL) to clients across financial services
• Deliver high-quality SAP software implementation and consulting services
• Become a trusted advisor to the client
• Establish productive client relationships
• Contribute and collaborate as a team member in a global working environment
• Lead engagements and deliver high-quality services on time and on budget
• Communicate effectively with clients and msg global management
• Aptitude and willingness to develop technical skills
• Responsible for achieving key business outcomes while adhering to project goals and deadlines
• Support presales demos, proof of concepts, and client demonstrations
• Look for opportunities and engage in up-selling or cross-selling to existing customers

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Actuarial, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive, relevant consulting or corporate experience
• Experience leading multiple projects on-time and on-budget with very high client satisfaction
• Experience in multiple SAP full life-cycle implementations, preferably with SAP FPSL, FS-CD, AR/AP, FI
• Hands-on experience in SAP FPSL, Insurance Analyzer, or Bank Analyzer, in a functional or techno-functional role
• Experience leading small teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy
• Capability to work well under pressure, under cost and time constraints
• Ability to excel in a global team environment, effectively communicate and achieve results
• Ability to travel up to 80%
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
• Working knowledge in financial services, the insurance industry, and/or banking
