Finance Manager – Bilingual

As a member of the North American finance team, you will provide accurate financial reporting and management to optimize project contract performance and profitability.

Responsibilities:

• Review and produce accurate monthly forecasting based on multiple project contract terms
• Ensure accurate setup in company system including revenue & cost budgets, transactional controls, and client contracts
• Complete month end financial close in SAP including journal entries, variance analysis, revenue & margin forecast, balance sheet analysis, and intercompany cross charges & allocations
• Review accuracy of detailed general ledger including payroll, payables, accrued expenses, AR and WIP analysis
• Revenue recognition in accordance with IFRS guidelines and contract pricing features
• Work effectively with local and remote management and cross-functional teams

Qualifications:

• Accounting designation (CPA) is preferred
• French/English bilingual is REQUIRED
• Advanced analytical Excel spreadsheet skills (Vlookup, Pivot tables, and If Statements)
• Ability to work with large amounts of data from multiple systems
• An understanding of project accounting systems, and be able to provide timely, and concise analytics
• A proactive attitude regarding business issues
• Ability to lead the delivery teams on accounting information, policies, and other procedures in a manner that is easily understood to drive targeted financial outcomes
