Reporting to the CEO. The Project Manager works as part of the Engineering team to lead engineering complex projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinating teams, managing budgets, and fostering a culture of collaboration. 
  • Design and implement efficient development processes, ensuring projects run smoothly from start to finish.
  • Develop and Implement Engineering Development Processes:
    • Design and establish efficient and effective engineering development processes.
    • Implement best practices and standards to streamline project workflows.
    • Continuously evaluate and enhance processes to ensure optimal project delivery.
  • Project Planning and Coordination:
    • Develop comprehensive project plans outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.
    • Coordinate project activities, ensuring seamless collaboration among cross-functional teams.
    • Monitor project progress and make real-time adjustments to meet deadlines.
  • Risk Management:
    • Identify potential risks and uncertainties related to project execution.
    • Develop risk mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
    • Proactively address issues to prevent delays and ensure project success.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
    • Lead and inspire project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, promoting professional growth.
    • Facilitate effective communication within the team and across departments.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Communicate project objectives, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders.
    • Manage expectations and ensure alignment between project goals and organizational objectives.
    • Foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Establish and enforce quality standards for deliverables.
    • Conduct regular reviews to ensure adherence to project specifications.
    • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project quality.
  • Resource Allocation:
    • Optimize resource allocation based on project requirements and priorities.
    • Collaborate with department heads to allocate personnel and equipment effectively.
    • Balance workload distribution to maximize team efficiency.
  • Budget Management:
    • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
    • Monitor expenses and identify opportunities for cost savings.
    • Provide accurate and timely financial reporting to stakeholders.
  • Performance Evaluation:
    • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for projects and team members.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations to assess individual and team effectiveness.
    • Implement performance improvement plans as needed.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and post-project reviews.
    • Generate regular status reports for leadership and stakeholders.
    • Ensure that project documentation complies with organizational standards.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in an engineering or technology-focused environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex engineering projects from initiation to completion.
  • Experience in developing and implementing engineering development processes.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.

This role will use the following tools. Experience in each of these is desired but not required:
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • Microsoft Project
