With a diverse clientele, this firm offers an exciting environment to grow your career as a Corporate Paralegal!  In this role, you'll play a vital role in supporting the Corporate, Commercial, and Security Practice Group. We're seeking an experienced candidate with either CORES 2 or CORES 3 accreditation, coupled with a strong grasp of corporate law and procedures. Experience in crafting a variety of corporate documents, including those tailored for societies and not-for-profit corporations, is highly desirable. We're open to training individuals with CORES 2 accreditation.

Key Responsibilities:       
  • Drafting documents related to incorporation, amalgamations, amendments, resolutions, and minutes
  • Preparation of documentation and transactions for corporate matters
  • Completion of Annual Returns as required
  • Responsiveness to daily inquiries from counsel and clients
  • Assisting Lawyers/Paralegals in transactions as needed

  • Possesses excellent research and analytical skills, exercising good judgment, accuracy, and a strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrates outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Capable of managing multiple files concurrently and proven ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Able to work independently as well as within a team environment
Key Qualifications and Education:
  • Diploma in paralegal studies or equivalent, combined with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a paralegal role
  • CORES Level  2 or 3 accreditation required (ALF corporate database experience is an asset). Willing to train someone with Cores 2
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed to meet business requirements
