Aplin has partnered with a leading manufacturer and distributer of building products to hire an experienced Office Operations Coordinator or their office in Burlington, ON. They are seeking an individual who is an organized and motivated self-starter with a track record of success in business operations and administration. Exceptional communication and time management skills are a must for this role.
Reporting to Distribution Operations Manager, you will support various operational initiatives and priorities related to facilities, freight, safety, inventory, vendor contracts, and processes. Day-to-day activities will support ongoing projects leaning on exceptional organizational, time management, and project tracking abilities, as well as strong communication skills. Some travel within Canada, and infrequently to the US, is required.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain digital files to track costs, inventory, and procedural documentation
- Coordinate and support project-related tasks
- Prepare and submit operational documents to senior management
- Maintain and monitor service contracts and agreements
- Provide administrative support to freight, distribution, facilities, and safety teams
- Ensure compliance according to company standards and legal requirements
- Create and maintain procedural documentation
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in business administration or office management. Preference will be given to Candidates with experience in the building products or distribution industry
- Relevant post-secondary education
- Proficient with MS office tools
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (proficiency in French is an asset)
- Highly organized with strong problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task
