Aplin has partnered with an Industry Leader to find a Senior Director of ERP & Corporate Applications. This role focuses on developing and executing strategies related to ERP systems and corporate applications, optimizing business processes, and driving operational efficiency. The Senior Director collaborates with cross-functional teams and interacts closely with business stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the overall ERP and corporate applications strategy, vision, and roadmap, aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Lead and manage a team of ERP and corporate application professionals responsible for system implementation, integration, and ongoing support.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to understand their operational needs and provide technology solutions that optimize business processes and drive efficiency.
  • Oversee the design, configuration, and maintenance of ERP and corporate application systems, ensuring their scalability, performance, and alignment with industry best practices.
  • Define and implement data governance and management processes to ensure accurate and reliable data within ERP and corporate application systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within business functions supported by ERP and corporate applications.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with ERP and corporate application vendors, managing vendor partnerships and ensuring service level agreements are met.
  • Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new ERP and corporate application technologies, ensuring alignment with business requirements, scalability, and integration capabilities.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the smooth integration of ERP and corporate application systems with other enterprise systems and databases.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of business processes supported by ERP and corporate applications.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop and implement training programs for ERP and corporate application systems, ensuring user adoption and proficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and advancements in ERP and corporate application technologies, evaluating their potential impact and benefits for the organization.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to develop and manage the budget for ERP and corporate application initiatives, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
  • Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to senior leadership on ERP and corporate application investments, potential cost savings, and operational improvements.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the ERP and corporate application team, implementing processes and methodologies to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement initiatives that enhance system security, compliance, and regulatory adherence.
  • Drive the development and implementation of data analytics and reporting capabilities within ERP and corporate application systems to provide actionable insights and decision support.
  • Lead change management initiatives related to ERP and corporate application implementations or upgrades, ensuring smooth transitions and user adoption.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including finance, operations, HR, and IT, to understand their needs and align technology solutions accordingly.
  • Provide leadership and direction for ERP and corporate application support teams, ensuring timely resolution of system issues and user support.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Proven experience in a leadership role overseeing ERP and corporate application functions, preferably as a Senior Director or similar position.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of ERP systems and corporate applications, including their architecture, modules, and integration capabilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing ERP and corporate application strategies, driving operational efficiency and process optimization.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Microsoft Dynamics Finance & Operations (F&O) is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience leading complex, cross-functional projects within scope, budget, and timelines.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry standards and best practices in ERP systems and corporate applications.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies in enterprise application systems, such as cloud-based solutions, mobile applications, and advanced analytics.
  • Proven experience in managing vendor relationships and partnerships, including contract negotiation and performance evaluation.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex organizational structures and influence stakeholders to drive consensus and decision-making.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex operational issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong financial acumen, with the ability to develop business cases and evaluate the financial impact of technology investments.
  • Experience in change management and leading teams through technology implementations and process changes.
  • Solid understanding of business processes across various functional areas, including finance, operations, HR, and supply chain.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends and best practices in ERP systems and corporate applications.
