We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team in the cold storage and warehousing sector. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in expanding our client base, driving revenue growth, and fostering strong relationships within the industry.

Responsibilities:
Market Analysis and Strategy:
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Develop and implement effective business development strategies to penetrate new markets and expand our presence in existing ones.
Client Acquisition:
  • Identify and target key clients within the cold storage and warehousing industry.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through lead generation, networking, and relationship building.
  • Conduct presentations and sales pitches to showcase the value proposition of our cold storage and warehousing solutions.
Relationship Management:
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address client requirements and provide solutions that align with their business objectives.
Contract Negotiation:
  • Lead negotiations and finalize agreements with clients, ensuring terms and conditions are mutually beneficial.
  • Work closely with legal and finance teams to ensure compliance and risk mitigation in contractual agreements.
Revenue Growth:
  • Meet and exceed sales targets by consistently identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities.
  • Implement effective pricing strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.

Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, logistics, and customer service, to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Provide regular updates on market trends, competitive activities, and sales performance to the leadership team.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field nice but not mandatory.
  • Proven track record of success in business development within the cold storage and warehousing industry.
  • Strong understanding of industry trends, customer needs, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in the cold storage and warehousing industry is highly desirable.
