Responsibilities:
  • Calculating and processing payment adjustments for members
  • Benefits set up and updating as required
  • Collection calls
  • Reconciliation of benefit claims
  • Provide concise explanations to member inquiries
  • Assist with preparation of Payroll
  • Contact employer groups for employee earning information
  • Review data for reconciliations to ensure accuracy
  • Liaise with internal and external parties
  • Assist with annual file audits
  • Prepare general remittances
  • Coordinate and attend meetings, assist with project administrative work as required
Qualifications:
  • Completion of a Business Administration, Payroll or Accounting program
  • 3+ years of Administrative experience
  • Exposure to Accounting and/or Payroll functions
  • Experience with Group Benefits Administration is an asset
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong customer service skills and prioritization skills required
