Aplin has partnered with a local construction company in search of a Marketing Assistant to support the marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns of the company. This person will perform administrative, creative, and organizational tasks to help drive the company’s marketing initiatives and achieve its business goals.

Responsibilities:
- Admin support including maintaining marketing calendars and schedules for campaigns and events.
- Manage and organize marketing materials, files, and documentation.
- Coordinate meetings, including preparing agendas and taking minutes as necessary.
- Handle inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in creating marketing collateral, including brochures, flyers, and presentations.
- Help drafting and editing marketing content such as blog posts, social media updates, and email campaigns.
- Coordinate the distribution of marketing materials to the appropriate channels.
- Assist in managing social media accounts, including posting updates and engaging with the audience.
- Support email marketing efforts, including list management and content creation.
- Assist in monitoring online advertisement campaigns and gathering performance data.
- Help coordinate and organize marketing events, such as trade shows, industry events, etc.
- Assist in the logistics of these events, including booth setup, materials, and coordination with vendors.
- Market research and assistance in compiling and analyzing data to support marketing decisions.
- Generate reports on marketing performance, including website traffic, social media metrics, and campaign results.
- Post-secondary education in Marketing or a related discipline.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in using common office software and tools.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing, social media, and content creation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinking and attention to detail.
