Reporting to the Field Service Manager, the Field Service Technician will be responsible for providing technical customer support for all company equipment and accessories including the installation of new machines, warranty repairs, and customer training.

Responsibilities:
  • Installation of new, updated, and/or retrofitted filling equipment
  • Integration of all electrical and mechanical components and assemblies
  • Support application and systems software to meet customer expectations
  • Support Customer onsite production runs
  • Troubleshooting and resolution of equipment
  • Perform service based on agreed-upon customer requirements
  • Timely, complete, and accurate Service Report filing following customer visits
  • Perform service based on agreed-upon customer requirements
  • Support the company's strategic goals and values
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 5 or more years’ experience in a related field and industry
  • Advanced electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic technical skills
  • PLC (Programmable Logic Control) controls. i.e.: Siemens S7 Series; Allen Bradley
  • Machine tool product knowledge
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and machine specifications
  • Availability for travel (70%) domestic and international to customer sites
  • Must be willing and able to lift to 50lbs
  • Experience with the metric system preferred
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Works well in a demanding environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to creatively and independently troubleshoot and solve technical problems
